<p>Legend by Bayer is a Loyalty programme in South Africa offered by Bayer to farmers. When you purchase participating products from the Bayer portfolio, you’re entitled to earn points which can give you access to special rewards and benefits to complement your agricultural operations. We aim to reward farmers for choosing&nbsp;Bayer by offering a better farming experience and to enable farmers to step into a new era with digitalization.</p>


What is “Legend by Bayer”?   and Why should I join it? 

<p>To be eligible for Legend by Bayer, one must conduct farming activities within the borders of the Republic of South Africa and have a valid tax number linked to their farming entity.&nbsp;</p>


Who can become a member? 

<p>Registration to the&nbsp;Legend by Bayer programme is free of charge. It’s our way of saying thank you for choosing&nbsp;Bayer.</p>


What does it cost to join Legend by Bayer?

I’ve forgotten my login details and/or my password. What can I do? 

<p>Each qualifying farmer should have one account linked to their registered VAT number. Points will be awarded and allocated based on this information.</p>


May I have more than one account?

<p>Follow these easy steps to earn points:</p>
<ol>
<li>Register&nbsp;on the&nbsp;Legend by Bayer website</li>
<li>Points for your direct DEKALB<sup>®</sup> seed purchases will be automatically loaded, where DEKALB<sup>®</sup> seed invoices from Cooperatives should be manually uploaded.</li>
<li>Submit your Bayer Crop Protection invoices&nbsp;containing qualifying&nbsp;Bayer&nbsp;products.</li>
<li><u>PLEASE NOTE</u>: All invoices submitted are handled by a third-party, Bayer does not have access to these invoices</li>
</ol>


How do I earn points? 

<p>Seed invoices containing DEKALB<b><sup>®</sup></b>&nbsp;seed will earn points from the first bag purchased from 23 January 2025</p>
<p>Crop protection invoices with qualifying&nbsp;Bayer&nbsp;products will earn points from 23 January 2025. All distributor invoices containing qualifying Bayer crop protection products will be eligible to earn points.</p>


Will I earn points on all invoices? 

<p>Bayer rewards the purchase of selected products with points. A detailed list of all participating products from the crop protection and seeds portfolio with their corresponding points value is available as a PDF download <a href="https://www.cs-contentapi.bayer.com/content/dam/regional-folders/emea/europe/south-africa/documents/catalogs/en/LegendByBayer_ParticipatingProducts_SouthAfrica_2025-02-06.pdf" target="_blank">on this page</a>.<br>
Please also note our special promotions where the value of the bonus points can be multiplied for a limited time!</p>


Will I earn points on all Bayer products? 

<p>After logging in to Legend by Bayer, please click on the “<u>Upload an invoice</u>” button on the home page. The step-by-step process will guide you through the process of uploading a digital invoice, selecting the relevant products and their amount as contained in the document and the actual invoice submission for processing. If you are facing technical issues, please contact our support team for assistance.</p>


How do I submit my invoice to the programme? 

<p>Invoices must be registered up to 6 months from the issuing date to be eligible for participation. Example: Bayer will accept an invoice with an invoice date of February 1<sup>st</sup>, 2025 until August 1<sup>st</sup>, 2025.</p>
