Fieldview Field Health Imagery

FieldView’s Field Health Imagery. Revealing fields, deeper insights

It’s not an overview it’s a close examination

We used to say that farmers need an overview of their fields and our Field Health Imagery provides exactly that. Only that it is so much more!

  • When you manage more fields that are positioned geographically in different locations, you might feel a bit disconnected. With FieldView you can see your fields even all at once;
  • When your crops are growing you don’t know exactly what happens in a specific area of a field. FieldView shows you exactly that spot that can become a higher risk;
  • When your fields are different, you can filter them in the app and address the one that needs your attention – fixing an issue promptly might save you from seeing a compromised yield at harvest time.

Put on the glasses of an expert

You don’t believe until you see! Well, some of the farmers who have already used FieldView for years, are telling us their stories from the field and sharing their own experiences. Using our platform is giving you the expert lenses that you need!

Monitor your seed investment

Choosing a variable seeding rate and having planted different hybrids on distinct fields sometimes requires more extensive attention. Farmers can check how their hybrid trials are going, if their investment was right or if they must adjust their choices for next season.

"Many people say that a farmer is just someone who shoots from the hip, but that's not the case at all. For me, the biggest excitement about FieldView is the fact that we can start to build up data over a few seasons. FieldView gives me the historical, statistical information that reflects what I’ve done on my farm over many generations,” says Dirk Laas, one of the farmers who have chosen FieldView™.

Work on field conditions

A FieldView farmer has dealt with a situation when wheat plants died in an area where water stagnated after abundant rains. He could decide to check on the drainage system and to work on that specific area where it was blocked.

Davis shares his FieldView experience with us: “With a superficial drainage system, water stagnated and almost killed the wheat plants in a certain area of the field. With FieldView, not only could I exclude other causes (like soil or plant emergence issues), but I could spot exactly the right one and find a proper solution for that – I drained the area of that field better so we could avoid similar situations in the future”.

Address fertilisation issues

One of our farmers has recently acquired a new field near the one he already owned and he saw on the field health map that there were severe issues with the new plot. Seeing this on FieldView allowed him to work further and to try balancing the inputs to get better results.

“I have acquired a field near the one that I already owned, just to witness sometime later that the soil had fertility issues. Of course, it is not easy to fix, but with FieldView I could understand causes and why the crop wasn’t developing properly. I could decide on the agronomic practices that would balance the zones later on,” says Paul.

Be the doctor of your crops

It is easy to spot any health issue, including infestations or diseases by dropping a pin and taking a photo for your agronomist to see. Before they become a real threat for your crop, you can address it with FieldView.

Some things are like never before

Every industry has changed and agriculture makes no exception. Farmers from all over the world shift towards digital. What was unseen to the human eye, now is visible with FieldView!
